And make no mistake about it, simply by being a member of FB you are giving them money, as they make money off ad traffic.
Facebook is actually in violation of the law. Past SCOTUS rulings have held that speech by candidates running for office enjoy 100% protection. Broadcast stations for example can’t refuse their ads because they don’t like the content.
Fakebook removes a republican candidate’s fund raising post and Google directs Trump’s email about him matching donation funds to people’s spam folder. Well golly gee, ain’t censorship grand!
I dumped all those “Socialist” media sites several years ago.
If the candidate advocated the assassination of Donald Trump with the AR-15 he’s giving away, Zuckerboig not only would leave the postings up he would actively promote and endorse them.
Zuckerberg is a pogrom and troll complaint promoter. Plenty of people there roam to only attack other posters and never submit real posts of their own in threads. It would be easy to make a software detecting the ratio of troll post to real posts and eject these people.
Some people are willing to pay for the rope that they will hang them with.
The USSR is back and now called Facebook
Many newspapers now won't let you post comments unless you use FB, so I set up a dummy account some years ago and have been CCing them on any of my non-PC rants.
This a.m. I noticed I was no longer receiving emails from The Schnitzel Republic ** (American retired in Germany, pepsionice on this board), so I checked his link.
If you want on his email list, you have to sign up via FB, and when I tried, using my old login, it came back "account suspended - so I created another bogus signon and got through. Let's see how long that lasts.
** Why I read this guy [snippet]: "There are probably a dozen reasons that Trump isn't the best or most positive candidate in the running. The problem is....when put up against Hillary....then asking about her reasons why she's not the best or most positive candidate in the running....your reason total goes to twenty....maybe even twenty-five. It is an election where you have marginal people for the job. Trump has a full-page resume but he's not really a Republican or Democrat....meaning he's an executive who will do things differently from the past forty-four guys to occupy the position. In Hillary's case, it's a 3x5 card resume, and her chief selling point is that she's the wife of Bill."
