Donald Trump has hired the Republican operative who oversaw the last two winning GOP campaigns in Ohio presidential politics to run his 2016 campaign there.

Whoa boy...
Looks like Trump goes after people who can win...Manafort, now this guy...sounds good...
why not?
Wish we knew more about his loyalties.
-— whether he will earn his income
Whew. At fist I thought he hired GW which wouldn’t make sense since I’m almost certain W’s for Hilary.
from article
...”Bob Paduchik is one of the best campaign managers in America. He is a well-known and respected operative in Ohio with a great record of success,” said Matt Borges, the chairman of the state GOP, in a statement. Paduchik also managed Rob Portman’s tough 2010 Senate race.
Trump is not a fixed ideologue. He will hire whoever can get the job done.
OMG, OMG, CNN headline leads people to believe Trump hired a loser when in fact he hired a winner.
Ken Blackwell?
My quick guess was off. ;-)
Bob Paduchik is one of the best campaign managers in America.
I too had to think about it...just long enough to see CNN and then ask myself, “ What game are they playing now?”
I don’t think the consultants are ideologues either. Their job is just to win.
Seems that way doesn’t it? We have a problem with staff in this area...maybe he will fix that too! (5 county coordinator)...I know two are complaining so far. No contact with others to know their feelings.
I still hold out some hope for W. I think he’s loyal to a fault, particularly when it comes to his brother. I don’t know that he would prefer Hillary. He knows her personally to some extent. I doubt he really likes her as a person. W might be mixed up in the this globalist nonsense but I think most of them are on Capital Hill. I guess I just feel he was warmer more empathetic than most politicians.
Obviously he’s establishment, GOPe.
Hires winners! Good.
I would imagine that Trump and company have vetted him pretty well and didn't just pull his name out of a hat and hire the name on the paper....
I admire your appreciation of W as a person. I used to live in San Jose, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area and would go to Marin County every time I got the chance because it is such a cool area, great sights and great restaurants among other things. The people themselves were some of the nicest people you could meet. Warm and friendly. But it is absolutely the heart of the Left on the West Coast.
I guess you have to admire the person but stand against their confusion. I guess freedom from tyranny, no matter how “compassionate” it may seem, has to be more important than personal charm. And when it comes to government, we cannot let the personal charm and viewpoints of officials trump the Rule of Law, the Constitution which is our only legal bulwark against federal tyranny, something W regularly did.
I know W is a Christian but the devil doesn’t care about that and if he can, he will use anyone including Christians and personal charm to accomplish his objectives. Kind of like “Put ‘em to sleep and then put ‘em in chains.” There is a price to pay for both freedom and faith and it is eternal vigilance. May we end our days like Paul the Apostle, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Tim 4:7-8).
We may not be always so popular and smooth and charming, but the reward of joy unspeakable and full of glory is worth the price for the eternal fight for freedom and faith.
