Trade unions, thousand page secretive bilateral “free” trade agreemnents.

It doesn’t take a union nor a thousand pages to establish free trade. Just one page, “I won’t charge you tarrifs and in exchange you won’t charge tarrifs.” One page, you might type it and fax it in 15 minutes.

THE TRUTH IS....these trade agreements have huge carve outs for banks and financial institutions. Garanteed graft. Indeed, as we’ve seen, market go down when banks and financial institutions lose their guaranteed income (graft) off trade.

Does this really surprise anyone?

A delicious piece, and thanks for posting. I too was misled by the polls into thinking the Brexit a noble but futile gesture, that the fix was in, that the elites simply had too many of the levers of power under their control in the form of the media and the academic "experts". Well, funny thing about that - if you use polls to attempt to affect the outcome, you lose the ability to predict what it is. Too bad.

That is likely to be the case in the United States as well, because the same assumptions, that polls affect morale, which affects turnout - those same assumptions are very much in evidence at the present time here. It's the sort of thing that results in those "Dewey Defeats Truman" headlines. They think they're the first to know, but it turns out, they're the last.

Admittedly, doubts crept in when Lindsay Lohan started livetweeting in favor of Remain

Yes, it was pretty dark at that point. Had the Kardashians come out in favor of Remain, I just don't think I could bear it. Rap stars, athletes, second-rate actors, has-been musicians, in short, all of our dearest cultural heroes, were singing the elitist party line. They know which side of their hand-kneaded five-grain whole wheat toast has the butter on it. We were pretty rude not to listen, and now are being punished by that nadir of cultural rectitude, being called racists on NPR. I for one am shattered.

I suppose we'll survive the shame, though. That Hillary's ham-handed amateur attempt to impersonate Metternich in the Middle East has exacerbated, if it wan't actually the proximate cause of, the demographic migration from the poor end of the European gradient to the wealthy one, seems too obvious even to mention, but it should be. This mess had a cause, and that cause was the accession to power of like-minded, anti-democratic elitists whose most fervent base belief is that nationalism must be wiped out, even, or especially, in the United States. Hillary certainly feels that way, and has constructed her staff around that belief. 0bama clearly feels that way, and ditto. These are grand ideas, the Greater Good, and we are the eggshells that have to be broken in order to make the omelet. That didn't work out for Lenin and it isn't working out for the current lot. The eggs are hitting back.

Not so fast. It was a close vote and the globalists will do everything they can to delay the implementation. There is also a move afoot to re-run the election.

Our British bretheren need our encouragement and our prayers.

Been brewing for awhile. I remember about ten years ago the Irish and the Brits were getting angry about all the Pollock immigrants taking their jobs. Add ten years of Islamic insanity and here we are.

Why did the populist uprising take so long? Pat Buchanan raised the flag 20 years ago. Why didn’t it work then? Why now?
