FIRST: Texas is well within it constitutional rights to NULLIFY AND REJECT federal acts and court decisions that are unconstitutional. Texas and all states are sovereign outside the limited power delegated by the Constitution to the feds as confirmed by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. The fact is the federal government has NO constitutional power to interfere with a state's abortion laws. SECOND: the scope of this decision is LIMITED to the parties of the case. The Constitution does NOT give the judicial branch legislative power to create national law. The constitutional power of the judicial branch is LIMITED TO INDIVIDUAL CASES AND CONTROVERSIES (Art III, Sec 2).

Sorry Rush, but the Constitution has failed. Look around you. Has the Constitution prevented expansion of the fedgov? Not in the least. The flaws in the Constitution 1.0 have been exploited by evil men. There needs to be a Constitution 2.0, but I don't know how to get there from here, apart from a general collapse of the US, with partitioning of its carcass into several pieces, with at least one of the pieces developing a Constitution 2.0.
