The type of thinking evidenced in that SF Weekly article is so delusional but typical of the Left that you really have to wonder if there remains any reasonable consensus that unites Americans. Frankly would not want to have any substantive interactions or even superficial contact with such people.

The irony is that even the author may not truly believe his own spin, but he knows the cabal he’s writing to, and calculates his expressions to get the most out of them.

I’ve entertained the notion of freelancing leftist tripe from time to time. It’s HELLA easy to write like a leftist; you’re not at all constrained by factual realities, and if you toss in “Monsanto” or “Bush” or any of a thousand other buzzwords you can never fail to get a smoggy, leftist “Yeah, man!” for your trouble.
