Woodburning stove downstairs & fireplace upstairs. Probably about 100 fruit and nut trees by now, plus much more. In a few years, I’m going to get solar panels, a small water tower, and bio-composting toilets.
I grow comfrey, so that when I get the bio-composting toilet, the one thing the company sells to accelerate the composting can be replaced by comfrey. I have tons of various medicinal plants as well as culinary herbs. I am annoyed at the growing resistance of malaria to Artemisia annua though. (I have wormwood, mugwort, sweet woodruff, yarrow for example, among others)
I also have a fair number of “quiet” weapons: (crossbows, compound bows, long bows, shuriken, swords, kukris, rope darts)
