The location is temporary and is really just a trial as a proof-of-concept. The bar is very close to Busch Stadium so the walk would be no worse that the walk from a parking garage.
Plus, muggings are not really the issue (even though a mugging was the inspiration) as much as cars being broken into and guns stolen ending up on the street.
buddy - ok - something bugged me about this - I checked — and carrying into a stadium with more than 5,000 people is prohibited in MO with force of law. This makes the gun check van an extremely good and important idea. The stadium should provide gun checks themselves.
