Did you hoist the equipment onto the train cars, or were you able to drive on?

The equipment was driven on. We did not have anything big enough to lift most of the stuff. I was not part of the loading of Equipment and I don't think the dozer I was assigned to was taken up there. We got on the train and took off. We had been stopped a while and someone yelled “There is no engine up front” so we set for a while. Some guys started off to get something to eat and came running back and said that an engine hooked up and we would be moving.
