Really stupid to go to a BLM protest, armed or not.

If I saw someone at that kind of rally, with what just happened, I would have informed the police and shadowed him until they arrived. The police would have been derelict in duty if they had not questioned him. For crying out loud!!!!!!!!!
Or, we can all wash ourselves in righteousness by beating our breast about the noble, innocent black man being singled out by racist police. He was probably lobbying for just that.

The guy was obviously smart enough, with the requisite presence of mind, to quickly sort out the exact right approach to the cops, and not wind up a statistic.

No, we don’t. Like you, we get a state issued card that looks like our driver’s license.
You walk around with an assault rifle at a BLM terrorist gathering, and then cops start getting shot! Just what do you expect.
Always an exception or two to the rule - not that long ago they were chanting "What do we want? Dead Cops! When do we want it? Now!"
And now they decided to shut down a road in Atlanta. BLM is a terrorist organization that will soon be working hand-in-hand with other terrorists....they just happen to have a bunch of supporters who haven't figured it out yet.
Those badges are super cool.
