My family is in law enforcement - don’t you DARE tell me I am not paying attention! Name calling simply contributes to the general feelings of animosity and distrust on all sides that must be overcome in order to bring about solutions.
The politicians of BOTH parties feed the divisiveness, as it keeps them in power...and the media perpetuates it because they are more interested in traffic than truth.
If reasonable people, on both sides of the issues, are willing to sit down and listen to each other, then we can start to move forward. Blindly following leaders of movements, without asking where they want to lead you, has led to many of the problems we face. There IS common ground but we need to stop demeaning each other!
