How any adult can justify belonging to this religion, I don’t understand. I get that children have no choice. maybe even women have no choice under such repression. But once you move to a non-muslim centered society, such as ours, why would you still choose to identify with this gangster-type behavior?
My guess is at least 75% of the world’s present muslims would walk away from it if there was no fear of being murdered for their apostasy. The other 25% are the dyed in wool sadists and masochists who enjoy this dangerous imbalance of power,
so long as they are the one’s cracking the whip.
Childhood abuse can mess with your mind. Think of all the sexual abuse against young boys in Afganistan (probably elsewhere, too), the exposure to beheadings and honor killings at a young age, and the constant indoctrination and their minds and views of the world are incredibly damaged. I think very few ever question the teachings of Islam.
