I hope Trump doesn’t pick that General that has been around Fox News the last few days. He’s not quick enough to be out there campaigning. I’m sure Trump needs good military advisors, but there are plenty of positions available for a good military person.
Trump needs someone political that can whip DC into shape.
Flynn is terrible, always tongue tied even on softballs you can see a mile away.
Newt is older and a lot less fit than trump,he is great for chief of staff,especially since he knows the ins and outs of congress,and can be a great attack dog without sounding harsh. I do not know who he will pick,but the general would be better at Secretary of defense.
The general WILL BE Secretary of State !!!!
