Begs the question, would you stroll up to the window of a “Armed robbery” suspect vehicle and asked for ID and registration like it was just a simple taillight infraction?

That’s suicide. Not me buddy, I would never do that. I’d do it the safe way.

And remember, the suspect vehicle had another unknown adult occupant! They could have both been loaded for bear if they really believed this was an armed robbery suspect.

it was a possible suspect in an armed robbery it was not a hot call for something that just happened with a vehicle description, yes i would not do a complete felony stop with ordering them out of the car one at a time a gunpoint onto the ground on a mere suspicion/probable cause.. a hot stop yes. if they ran when red lighted then full felony stop.
