In short, Christie has hugged a terrorist-organization member, abridged free-speech rights, scorned concern over Islamization, and opposed law-enforcement counterterrorism efforts. Whenever an issue touching on Islam arises, Christie takes the Islamist side against those the DHS, state senators, the NYPD, even the ACLU who worry about lawful Islamism eroding the fabric of American life.

It's not about "learning lessons" here.
Guys like Romney and now Christie, you're suggesting that he has "learned his lesson."
Has he, why now, has he said that, has he said he understands standing up for a terrorist-organization member was wrong, has he made statements on his own backing up Trump on refusing to allow more Muslims into the country or from terrorist-sponsoring countries, Christie is a RINO governing a blue state.
People voted for Trump for a number of reasons: (1) he stands up for America and Americans; (2) he doesn't delude himself into rolling on politically-correct speech not caving under pressure.
People voted for Christie in the Primary as they did for others but the vast majority voted for Trump.
Just as DC insiders might push Christie or Marco and even some now for Newt for VP.
They are the clearly insider picks, not the anti-insiders the people want.
Go for real outsiders, don't worry about the so-called "experienced VP being necessary" the Establishment are now pushing.

My remark about “learning a lesson” was about Cristie’s Obamie hug....nothing more, nothing less.
