Yeah, I’m 74 and had to try it. I was an avid geocacher at one time. This game is going to cause some real problems, with the geocache, you made sure it wasn’t in private or restricted property. This thing seems to have scattered the goals all over the place. It is a lot of fun, but with Pokemons randomly located, even in streets, this is not nearly as safe as Geocaching. As much fun as it is, it is going to cause problems. Too bad.

Ingress, the predecessor, is a bit better in that regard. It goes by fixed landmarks and only requires you to be within 40 meters. Second, they’re quite responsive to property owner concerns, where they’ll remove bad locations. Finally, you don’t have to go everywhere for Ingress - just where you’re comfortable with playing.
