I understand what you are saying but she would have faded away if she resigned and not been held accountable. Big deal to resign - not. Free and clear to collect anything she earned on the side. It just feels intentional - Melania was the vulnerable one and the one who could have taken a big hit and diverted attention away from the other speakers. Nothing is being said about Benghazi because it is all about Melania.
