The AP is going to get worse and worse with those headlines.

Why can’t they just be good democrats and leave conservatives alone? I also don’t want the Communist Party USA endorsement.

They should too. The hypocrisy is stunning.

its so sad Trump has to try to pander to one sick group to help show he was a “different kind of Republican.”

He maybe should’ve stuck it a little easier to the Mexicans in order to trade it off to protect sexual normalcy and oppose transvestites. I find transvestitism and satanic faggotry etc more repulsive than illegal immigration.

Yeah — gay Republicans would be so much better off with a President who takes money from Muslim dictators who kill gay people in the most awful ways.

AP has a pro-Hillary narrative to create, and they will push it every single day.

"Excited by Trump, gay Republicans...."

Sorry, guys, He's Straight.

(Does no writer or editor ever check their headlines for accuracy, double entendres etc. anymore?)

Having sustainable cultural norms are more important in the long run than how we deal with immigration and national defense. We want to build a wall on the border but remove the borders and governance around our sexual norms. We will pay. It is sad that the deviants have so much absolute power in this country that Trump has to suck up to them.

Trump will eventually create UNITY in spite of the MSM and press.

The sign of a LEADER, not a divider.

"I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology," Trump said...

..."I have to say, as a Republican it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said," Trump ad-libbed. "Thank you."

The unequivocal appeal for a more inclusive tone is likely to give Trump's fellow Republicans permission to embrace an issue resonating deeply with a younger generation of voters from all sides of the political spectrum. It also puts Trump squarely at odds with the party platform adopted just three days earlier at his own nominating convention.

In fact, the GOP platform moves farther away from gay rights than past years, with a new admonition of gay parenting that says kids raised by a mother and father tend to be "physically and emotionally healthier." Preserved in the platform are opposition to gay marriage and to bathroom choice for transgender people.

The leftists are wrong on this one. Words have meaning. Let's examine what Trump did there: he promised to protect gays from the islamist ideology coming to our shores that mandates the killing of gays. How does that obligate him to overthrow the proscriptions of the Platform? It does not.

He has separated the issue of whether gays deserve to die for being gay from the issues of gay marriage, parenting and blurred bathroom usage.
