BOZELL: So Much for ‘Unprecedented’ Jail Talk
Western Free Press ^ | July 22, 2016 | Brent Bozell

Posted on 07/22/2016 6:38:20 PM PDT by Cheerio

The Republican National Convention’s rowdy chants about Hillary Clinton — “Lock her up!” — have caused liberal journalists to get extremely distressed. In its lead editorial on July 21, The Washington Post fulminated that team Trump’s “descent from standard red-meat partisanship to unprecedented accusations of criminality displays contempt for the rule of law and a startling disinterest in fact and reason.”

That’s strong brew. It’s too bad for them that it’s completely false. Somehow, the Post writers are acting like they were born yesterday, or slept through the last Republican presidency. They’ve chosen to overlook that their liberal friends in news and entertainment were active participants in an eight-year anti-GOP hatefest.

Take CNN commentator Jack Cafferty, who on Oct. 17, 2005, gushed to Wolf Blitzer about the idea of Karl Rove in prison: “What should Karl Rove do if he is indicted? … He might want to get measured for one of those extra-large orange jumpsuits, Wolf, because looking at old Karl, I’m not sure that … they’d be able to zip him into the regular size one.”

“..displays contempt for the rule of law and a startling disinterest in fact and reason...”

They just lie and lie some more. Perfect description of Hillary and her boss. But they ignore that. Gross hypocrisy.

I want Hillary in Jail. I want Bill Clinton in Jail too. Obama needs to go to prison, as does Nancy Pelosi and a whole host of other Democrat Criminals.

People who contributed to Barack Obama's election campaign need to go to jail. Probably most of Barack Obama's staff belongs in prison.

The nation desperately needs this criminal class to be incarcerated for the laws they have broken, and the abuses they have done.

Yes, put Hillary in Prison. May she die there, with no hope or succor for the remainder of her days.

They very well might have been. Each writer is afforded a tablet and a pacifier!

Sounds like a few somebodies at the Post need a bit of the old Charles Sumner Cure-All...

I get the feeling there will be more than a few empty seats at President Trump’s press conferences after the leftist propagandists are disinvited. Or is it “uninvited”?

Washington Compost will be out on the curb next to MSLSD and more.

And being a professional pundit Brent fails to go for the jugular. Sure those who find Trumps' claims "unprecedented" are hypocrites, but then so is every professional pundit and politician in D.C. the weak vapid Bozell included.

In this case one might have pointed out that the "unprecedented accusations of criminality" came not from some political fortune seekers, not from some Hillary before she was fired from the watergate investigation for ethical reasons, but from the director of the FBI appointed and vetted by their party. And the recitation of fact was so convincing that what was unprecedented was Comey's auto da fe when he announced that "no reasonable proscecutor" would prosecute the gross criminality and gross negligence despite facts so irrefutable that neither Hillary nor her supporters have sought to refute them.

The jugular Brent went for was his own, but choking the carotid artery does little when the pulse is week, and the blood flowing through it is deficient in red blood cells.

While it is perhaps nice to see this weather-vane finally turn around towards the wind that is blowing, it is rusty, indicates unreliably, and sure screeches a lot.

Richly, with ridiculous display
The politicians corpse was laid away
While his acquaintances
sneered and slanged, I wept
for I longed to see him hanged

Actually, I’d say it displayed respect for the rule of law. Hitlery and her cronies are the ones who display contempt for the rule of law, thus the “lock her up” chant.

Has everyone seen this?

Hillary Clinton has seizure / convulsions - tries to play it off by making fun of seizures

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMHOcmDVBP0

Some comments by viewers in the FR forum regarding the video clip of Hillary.

I work with a guy who has the same thing. His head will bobble like a doll when he has to talk and is stressed. Early Parkinson?s onset according to him.

------------------

That may well be from her head injury days.

------------------

If anything it could be stimulus-sensitive myoclonus. It is triggered by a variety of external events, including noise, movement, and light. Surprise may increase the sensitivity of the individual.

------------------

The reporter obviously was the "trigger" to Hilly's head jerking reaction ..... it certainly surprised the reporter who cringed back & looked a bit horrified ... that reaction leads me to think something other than ?joking around? was going on with Hilly, whatever it was/is.

------------------

Wife is a neurologist and definitely thinks it was a seizure. An absence seizure. During these type of spells, patients can have automatisms (such as stereotype head jerking, or picking at things in the air) and brief lapses in awareness.

In an adult, absence seizures may result from brain pathology (such as strokes, head trauma, or tumors).

It's fatuous to pretend their is no controversy over Hillary's email. Worse than the gross negligence extreme carelessness with which she chose to risk America's secrets to protect her own is the unprecedented appearance of impropriety over which the former SoS used high office to fly the globe to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in private funds. From Whitewater to Travelgate, from renting the Lincoln Bedroom to raising money from governments and foreigners doing business with the State Department there is a long and troubling pattern.

Even worse is for the media to essentially whitewash it, instead of following the breadcrumbs. They don't take a second look at the possibility of corruption, favoritism, patronage, abuse of power. Too many on the left think this is just the way things are done, or should be done, or are the privileges of power. And yet, Bozell seems to have no problem as his party supporters slander Trump a racist, sexist, xenophobe for pointing out the rational problems inherent in export of jobs through trade deals, the suppression of wages through immigration and H1B visas, and the risks involved in not thoroughly vetting immigrants from conflict zones.

Just imagine the MSM speculation if a Republican or conservative candidate had a similar seizure.

If that had been Nixon, Regan, or Trump the media would be all over it like flies on sh$t - e.g. Watergate and Iran-Contra. Lib media made entire careers of bringing down Repubs - RATS no so much.

What amazes me is how stupid America has become in terms of getting their "news". If Dan Blather says George W Bush avoided his service duty it must be so!!!

Each party has slightly different rules.

Needless to say the Democrats have the rule where the DNC decides what to do.

The Republicans allow for the VP nominee to become the candidate.
