Trump knows DC is a cesspool but probably doesn’t realize the full depth of it. He’s going to have a big battle on his hands trying to pry them away from their financial dependency.

I disagree. Take a look at his face when he said, “I know them. I know them.” I could read his threat to the corrupt written all over his face. It was a fleeting moment, but very clearly exposed to anyone watching closely.
Well, the thing to do is set in motion to get the economy growing. As people are pulled away from the trough, there will be jobs.
DC has 6 of the 10 richest counties in the country surrounding it. They are looting the rest of the country.
