I’m glad the charges were dropped but we still have a huge problem in this country — prosecutors who bring political prosecutions with absolutely no consequences. It happened here, it happened in Miami, it happened at Duke, it happened with Rick Perry. It is a disgrace. State legislatures, many of which are controlled by Republicans, should do something about it.
It is a good thing the police officers had a strong union with deep,deep pockets for defense attorneys.
