I have seen dozens of Newschimp stories on fracing and have
NEVER EVER seen them give the depths of the producing formations
they write about.
Either the New York Times and the crAP put out orders not to include
that info or they are just too stupid to think of it.
On the positive side the Maryland state gooberment will
be deprived of taxes from shale gas produced in the state
so that’s good.

I don't see the Pro-Fracking forces getting any traction on this in the short
term because there is no profit motive for the gas companies with the price
of LP down. There are wells that have been capped near our property in
upstate PA because it is not worth the cost to pump the gas out and I don't
think our mineral rights contract will be renewed. The gas companies have
pretty much disappeared from our area.
