Depends on who the moderators are. If the moderators can control the direction and tone of the debates she’ll make it through unscathed.

It doesn't matter. Trump will be in control. He will be the alpha male no matter who the moderator is. He will play the moderator just like he plays the media in other venues. If he gets in a dustup with the moderator, Trump will look like the winner and the moderator will look like a chump. And Hillary will be wagging her finger and losing 50,000 votes per wag.

Trump is not like the previous weak sisters Republicans had running before.

Trump has been practicing for the debates since he announced - almost every live interview has gotcha questions. He is used to them.

Hillary on the other hand has never really faced hostile questions. Will she rise to the occasion or fold like a $2 card table?

Looking forward to the first debate to see the answer.

“Depends on who the moderators are. If the moderators can control the direction and tone of the debates she’ll make it through unscathed.”

Rewatch the last two Obama-Romney debates for a preview of the Clinton-Trump debates. Obama was prepared for every question, suggesting he had them in advance and his responses were scripted. The Candy Crowley intervention looked rehearsed although Obama almost messed it up by asking Candy to intervene too quickly, almost like he was impatiently waiting for the chance to sandbag Romney.

On the other hand, Romney often looked as though he was thinking through and formulating his answers while he was speaking indicating he didn’t get the questions in advance and his team did a poor job of preparing him.

If there are debates, expect in 2016 Hillary to answer only softball questions with rehearsed answers. Her answers will allow her to repeat the talking points about Trump. Nothing of substance. In contrast the questions asked of Trump will be tough and intended to paint him as a mean spirited racist bigot.

The moderators will step in if Hillary gets into trouble. They will also do everything they can to cut off Trump’s answers, particularly if the audience is responding positively.

If debates are held the moderators will be left wing journalists. There is no way Hillary will agree to Andrew Napolitano, Lou Dobbs, or any other conservative journalist to ask questions. She might agree to Bill O’Reilly but he will agree to play by Hillary rules if he is selected. O’Reilly has already demonstrated a willingess to go soft on Obama and other leftists in order to get the interview. He will also relish the opportunity to play the attack dog in questioning Trump in a debate.

Hillary will likely insist she pick the moderators - George Stephanopolis, F. Chuck Todd, and Andrea Mitchell would be likely choices. If Trump won’t agree to her choices, she won’t debate. The media will claim Trump is afraid and unwilling to be questioned by “objective” moderators.
