Hillary boxed herself into the “things are great, but we can still make them greater” meme at the convention. It really surprised me, but that has to be what the focus polls told them. The irony is that the far left disagrees and the entire right disagrees. I have no explanation for the message - it seems completely tone deaf. Most Americans feel like there is systemic rot in our system and the stench is growing - she stood there in her super expensive North Korean dictator outfit and told us America smelled like flowers.

Her sycophants including the MSM never call her on her continuous lies, so there is no incentive to stop. I think she is both evil and delusional; they’re not mutually exclusive.

Get used to it. In 1968, after the most chaotic, violent Armageddon of a convention in Chicago, with the country ripped apart by racial strife and the Viet Nam war, Hubert Humphrey gave his acceptance speech and touted "the politics of joy!"

Thing is, he nearly won. Only the third party candidacy of George Wallace, which drained off democrat electoral votes in the Southland, enabled Nixon to win the election.
