The sooner you start living in reality, the better. Trump has been making foolish mistakes for over a year now and he hasn’t learned anything at all regarding the MSM. He still thinks any publicity is good publicity...big mistake. You need to stop going off on people that are just stating the truth.
And don’t go off on me either...we have given to Trump since day one; never supported anyone else. If you want to go off on someone, call a Trump campaign office and give them hell...we did.
We live in Tampa Bay, Florida, and have been bombarded with anti-Trump attack ads for 2 solid months, 7/24. The ads all use Trump’s own words and actions against him and they are very effective (don’t think they would keep running them, if they already hadn’t done polling that shows they are working). I read that the same ads have been running in Ohio and Pennsylvania. In spite of that, Trump keeps giving them more ammunition.
The worst part is that Trump is not even fighting back. Only one ad has started running by a SuperPak.
Trump gave a great speech at the convention and got a pretty good bump in the polls. Everything he has done since has been mistake after mistake. If he keeps this up, he will lose the undecideds and the Indies.
What we need to know, BADLY, is HOW this POS Muslim was found by Hillary, in the first place.

Trump’s like Harry Truman in that he gets into fights over honor. This jihadist goat pounder slandered Trump at the convention for 30 minutes, telling one lie after another. While this doesn’t play particularly well in our less than masculine society it is what men of honor like Trump do.
The problem here is this guy is a very obvious trap that Trump should have ignored.
Great men have great flaws and I expect that we’re just going to have to deal with Trump walking into traps from time to time.

I said this in the other thread, but it wasn’t a wise decision to wade into this. For our side who likes him hitting back, we have to realize that while this may appeal to some in the base, this is not going to go over well with the undecided voters and fence sitters. He shouldn’t have said anything about the mother as, according to her, she says she can’t speak about her son without crying. Also, politically speaking, asking for the mother to speak isn’t good for Trump. I can’t see anyone who is undecided saying that will make them vote for him.
I did say this, though, I understand that Trump wants to reply to what this man said about him. I said in the other thread, and I’ll post it here, what I would have said if I were advising Trump (obviously I’m not):
I appreciate the sacrifice that this young man made for our country. We are grateful for his service; he was a hero. I am sorry for their loss. I would like to make clear that the ban on immigration is related to countries that have a high incidence of terrorism. The United Arab Emirates is not one of those countries, and so the ban would not have affected Khan. The wall criticized is to stop illegal immigration on the Mexican border, not to keep legal immigrants like the Khan family out.
Right now, there is a problem with radical Islamic terrorism which is what Khan fought against and which is what has led to an increasing number of terrorist attacks. Hillary Clinton has not helped matters with her foreign policy. After she voted for the war to go into Iraq, she also supported pulling the troops out too soon - leading to the rise of ISIS. ISIS further spread through inept policies in Syria and Libya. The ban on immigration from countries with a high instance of terrorism is made to keep the same people that Kahn was fighting off of our shores - which is why he was fighting in the first place. It is important to ensure that the soldiers who died fighting radical Islamic terrorism, so that it did not spread and come to our shores, didn’t die in vain. Of course there are good Muslims like the Khan family, and we have to ensure with the ban from terrorist countries and proper vetting that the people who enter this country love America like the Kahn family and aren’t radical Islamic terrorists. That will make all families, including the Kahn family, safer.
That would have been what I would have said. As far as the ABC interview, the media is lying. They are acting like Trump came out and boasted to the father that he created jobs. That’s a lie. George S. asked him what he has sacrificed. Trump answered about creating jobs, and there is nothing wrong with that. America needs people to do it. What has Hillary sacrificed? She didn’t lose a child in that way either. Also, Trump said he “probably looked like a nice guy to me.” Trump explained his position as to why he wants to do a ban on immigration from terrorist countries.
For the record, Trump put out a statement to all this media hoopla which is actually kind of similar to what I said I’d say.
