Trump won’t lose a single vote over this but Hillary might if she defends a man who treats his wife like his property and likely beats her regularly.
He is a Muslim. And wife beating is a quintessential muslim custom. Let Hillary defend him.
I think she will walk away from this. If she escalates she will lose.
