Quran (8:12) - “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
A command to strike terror with horrors to scare them into converting. There’s no other reason to cut people’s fingers off.
Quran (8:57) - “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”
Commit horrible acts so that everyone is scared into submission - terrorism.
Quran (17:16) - “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.”
If they won’t convert when offered, Muslims have the obligation to kill and/or conquer them.
Quran (8:39) - “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah”
Fight until all the world submits to Islam.
Quran (66:9) - “O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless
journey’s end.” The root word of “Jihad” is used again here. The context is clearly holy war, and the scope of violence is broadened to include “hypocrites” - those who call themselves Muslims but do not act as such.
This verse is why Muslims see it as acceptable to kill other Muslim sects, like Sunni versus Shia and both against Sufi and Almaddhi. It is also the verse that allows fundamentalist Muslims to kill the moderates.
Quran (2:191-193) - “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...
It is worse for someone to be an unbeliever than it is to kill them.
Quran (2:216) - “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you.”
Fighting for Islam is considered good, the greatest good.
And the context of the verse is commanding people to raid a caravan for loot, piracy, not even defensive war.
Quran (4:95) - “Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.
Jihad clearly isn’t a spiritual struggle when those physically unable to fight are exempt.

Support for terrorism rises with one’s attendance of mosque. Only in Islam do we see increased support for violence with religiosity. No one cares about radical Buddhists, because they sweep the sidewalk ahead so they don’t step on a bug. No one cares about radical Hindus unless they engage in honor killings, because the worse we see in the news is ripping up Valentine’s Day displays in India. Only in Islam do you see religious fundamentalists killing people because their god said so, to scare the survivors into converting to Islam in the hope of making it stop.
We’re reaping the evil Saudi Arabia sowed by building lots of mosques throughout the West to spread their influence (tourism) mandate and exported the biggest firebrand preachers abroad. Now the second generation of Muslims in the West are more fundamentalist than their parents, with 1 in 4 admitting in surveys they support suicide bombings and half saying yeah, lets mandate Shariah law. Far more actually support the fundamentalist views. When you get down to specific tenets, nearly 100% in the West say outlaw homosexuality and ban criticism of Islam.
Terror has EVERYTHING to do with Islam.
For those who have made comments critical of Trump for his remark re. the muslim (shari’a?) lawyer whose son was killed by ANOTHER MUSLIM while serving in the muslim created centuries ole hell hole/abattoir in the Middle East, I – and many other posters – have asked one question: Why didn’t this fellow aim his comments at the fellow muslims now slaughtering other muslims, Christians and Jews all over the world – and, if you’ve been asleep or a demoncrat (but I repeat myself) – now HERE AMONG US?
Oh wait. He was at the demoncrat convention and was under orders to dump on Trump!
