Donald Trump and members of his Secret Service detail were briefly trapped in an elevator Friday before a campaign rally in Colorado Springs.
They were rescued by firefighters with the Colorado Springs Fire Department, which lowered a ladder into the elevator, allowing Trump and his entourage to climb out. Two Trump campaign sources confirmed the incident to CNN. The story was first reported by the Denver Post. Trump eventually took the stage at the rally, where he opened his remarks by blasting the local fire marshal for shutting off entry to his campaign event due to capacity restrictions.

Whom would you rather be stuck in an elevator alone with, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump???
I watched the rally. Trump did blast the fire marshall as incompetent for refusing entry. I don’t know if the venue was at rated capacity and Trump was out of line, but at any rate, less than a minute later he noticed that more people were being let in, so implicitly backed off his complaint against the fire marshall.
Oh my. By rigging an elevator?

That is what happened, which I thought was silly on his part. If he just acted like he was kidding around it would have been OK, but he didn’t.
Off the cuff comments got him where he is today, but in the General more people are paying attention and the Media will not let one syllable go by that they can’t make hay out of.
Obama can UH-UH-UH, Okie Doke, 57 States, my Muslim Faith, special Olympics bowling and anything else and you never hear a thing about it, same with anything Hillary says and does.
Trump does not have that advantage, his is THE Target.

Total speculation on my part, but I bet the elevator in this case is so short as to not even merit being cable/counterweight driven.
And don’t forget that just a couple of days ago the facility where he was holding his rally wasn’t cooled. He really got on them for not having the air conditioning at a proper level. Sure makes ya wonder.

The rally is on youtube, listen yourself and see if you think it was a “blast”. It was a joking comment about how many people there were. Listen to what the Donald says, not what the media “report” that he says.
Regular firefighters recued him, not the fire marshal. The fire marshal is not beyond reproach just because firefighters do good deeds.
They probably never knew he had a military command post set up in the basement of their hotel

I’ll bet the SS guys were grateful to be in Trump’s contingent rather than Hillary’s. Can you imagine being stuck in a elevator with someone who despises you?
You can add all the rest of the media, too. Their vendetta against Trump is so over-the-top as to be all but unbelievable.
It wasn’t a blast, more like we could have had a gigantic rather than huge crowd.
