Magog either represents America, DC, Brussels, or Europe, but I favor DC/America because of the reverse side of the seal with the pyramid and all-seeing eye. What does that reverse side of the seal mean? It hearkens back to the first attempt at world government (run by Nimrod who was a black man descended from Cush), but it also looks forward at America’s destiny at becoming the second and successful attempt at world government run by Obama.

How successful was that first attempt? It was destroyed. Many people left and spread out over the Earth. They built pyramids in other parts of the world to try it again and again, but those civilizations are now but a memory. What happened to the tower/pyramid? The bottom third sank into the ground, the top third was burned to a crisp, and the middle third was left standing.

Alexander the Great found it during his lifetime, removed what was left by that time, and tried to rebuild it again. But he died unexpectedly.

What will happen to America and Europe. They’ll be destroyed plus all of the nations that join in the fight to destroy Israel. That means most of the world. I suspect that two thirds of the population will die as a result. Not something most people want to contemplate.

What the Zohar says about Yishmael in the last days is very interesting. I think the joining of forces between Esav (Rome) and Yishmael got its start after the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire in 1922 and then really kicked in during the late 1960s.

What do you think of the prophecies given by the 12th century rabbi who died in 1217, Yehudah Ben Shmuel, in terms of the status of Jerusalem and the Yovels (Jubilees)?

The key years are 1517, 1917, 1967, and 2017.

I did check to see if DC was called Rome and you are correct from what I can see.

Washington Was Originally Called Rome?
http://ghostsofdc.org/2014/02/11/washington-originally-called-rome/

“A long time ago, way before the city was in the thoughts of our founding fathers, back in the 17th century, there was a large estate in the area of about 400 acres. This farm occupied the land southeast of Georgetown (then, a part of Maryland). The man who owned the land was fond of Italy and decided to name the estate Rome, in honor of the city. The small body of water bordering it to the south was originally called Goose Creek, but then took the new name, Tiber Creek (i.e., after the The Tiber in Rome). Of course, the story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning that the landowner’s name happened to be Francis Pope.”

I do know that the dome on the capital building was modeled after the dome at St. Peter’s basilica in Rome.

“18. What architectural features within the building were inspired almost directly from European buildings?

The two most notable large-scale architectural features are the grand staircase and triple arcaded gallery and the dome. The design for the grand staircase and gallery was styled directly from Charles Garnier’s 1868 Paris Opera House. The Capitol’s dome is a one-third scale representation of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.”

Interesting post/reply.

"What do you think of the prophecies given by the 12th century rabbi who died in 1217, Yehudah Ben Shmuel, in terms of the status of Jerusalem and the Yovels (Jubilees)?"

His work is wonderful and the 2017 year agrees with an Israeli rabbi I follow, who believes the world has at most about 10 years left.

"With a mighty blow of his sword, Chushim severed Esau’s head, which rolled into the Cave of Machpelah and came to rest in Isaac’s lap, where it remains to this day."
