In that case, the House GOP Caucus can and should remove Ryan from Speaker ASAP after he is defeated in his primary, unless Ryan shows some humility and voluntarily steps down from his post and resigns from Congress like Cantor did after he lost his primary election.
No telling what treachery Ryan will attempt prior to the end of this Congress knowing he no longer has to face the wrath of the voters.

Not necessarily. If he loses, then any money from his campaign war chest that is unspent is his to keep, after he pays off any just campaign debts. Many incumbents who amassed million$$ in their war chest got to cash that out when they were defeated in re-election or when they retired. They do not have to give it back or give it away.

That may be true. But, if they don't remove him on their own if he is in fact defeated in his primary election, then they will before election day, especially if Trump turns up the grassroots heat on them prior to their own elections to replace him provided he doesn't ride off into the sunset with his unspent campaign cash and a new 7 figure K Street lobbying job waiting for him.
Enough of his GOP House fan boys will realize he is not coming back and they will not either unless they remove him as Speaker ASAP.

I have relatives that live near Madison, WI... And what is considered 'conservative' in WI is borne out in the work of Paul Ryan. I expect all the churches have distributed 'vote' for lying Ryan voter guides. Sheriff Clark of Milwaukee is far more 'conservative' than lying Ryan.. So while I pray for relief from lying Ryan, I am not expecting his defeat. What I would like to see happen is a national petition to require all incoming Syrian rebels get settled in his district.
People who live and vote in his district see it. Even long-time Ryan supporters have to be motivated to find out why everyone in the country hates Lyin' Ryan, which THEN motivates them to do a little research into why they're supporting such a despised piece of caca.
