It will take Trump like figures to fix our roads and bridges. The stimulus a la Obama was a money laundering scheme to fund the DNC and Democrat cronies. For some reason, I think Mr. Trump might actually get the “infrastructure” fixed with the money.
I’m all for rebuilding the infrastructure IF the money is actually spent on rebuilding the infrastructure. Trump is right that our airports and roads are in horrible shape compared to many other countries. The difference is I believe that Trump will make sure the money goes into those projects and not just into a handful of buddies’ pockets. And we won’t get saddled with garbage like Solyndra.
Yep, and all of Obamas’ promises about rebuilding our infrastructure, when did THAT happen.

Move the unemployed off welfare, food stamps & all the other tax supported subsidies to real work for real wages.
Earn self-respect with ‘wages for work’. Especially target those inner city youth - who could become men.
On the job apprenticeships - Trump would be perfect to get this going.
I fall to see this, outside of postal roads, as being a Federal issue.

These people just take a bite of what Trump says and go all Chicken Little. Trump explained that when he flew into LaGuardia Airport it looked like a 3rd world country. He wants to slash the federal bureaucracy and rebuild our infrastructure...now who promised that before but it never happened.
Agree. If we do this “stimulus” and it actually goes into infrastructure unlike ARRA which was totally pork laden, then it’s a great idea. But we all know how the system works. The DC pols (ALL OF THEM) will set this up so they end up getting the kickbacks from their buddies who are the only ones who can be approved to be contractors. Crony capitalism at its finest...
So, massive amounts of wasteful spending is okay when our candidate does it?
Nobody wants all private toll roads - so highway funds are both constitutional and necessary. If you bring back corporate dollars by adjusting federal tax rates, leverage proper tariffs and trade deals... cut taxes and create jobs so there is an overall increase in tax revenue.... then yes, there will be money for proper highway projects.
This hit piece presupposes that nothing else changes but an increase in spending. Just a typical hit piece.
Trumps plan is NOT to use tax dollars RATHER have the private sector donate to a fund to do the infastructure for the country I think this type of plan would work!!!
