Yes. And it's more than just accuracy, there is also trusting that the important things will be presented, along with some local spice and fluff. Plus the fact that most people are too lazy and preoccupied with work, hobbies and entertainment to have any reason or motivation to dig.

To the liberals, the press is honest and trustworthy. They just haven't been berned yet.
