Indeed the headline presumes more than the story supports. I guess the rule of thumb is its ok to do sloppy journalism on someone’s reputation as long as it fits the bigotries of the day.

Apparently it was witnesses in the restaurant who say that Zimmerman was bragging:

"Zimmerman is considered the victim in this case, but witnesses inside Gators Riverside restaurant told authorities that the problem started because Zimmerman was bragging about killing the unarmed teen in 2012."
