Kasim Hafeez's pro-Israel activism on university and college campuses today, is a far cry from when he was a student himself. "I was the campus anti-Semite," he confessed, looking back to his days as a Politics student at Nottingham Trent, UK.
Hafeez, 32, is a British Muslim of Pakistani origin whose full time job now, is working as the Outreach Coordinator for Christians United for Israel. But some ten years ago, he was busy making noise on his own campus, in the opposite direction: "If Israel even sneezed in the wrong direction we were protesting. We held events with speakers who were blatantly anti-Semitic, but we couched it by saying they were anti-Zionist. I was generally obnoxious, loud and threatening," he admits.

Now living in Canada, Hafeez, is due to speak next week at a conference on anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activity on campus, hosted in Boston by the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America. There he will share the story of his transition from Islamic radicalism to pro-Israel activism - a subject he has related to students of different religions, ethnicities and backgrounds on campuses across the globe. His departure from the UK was largely due to the shift in his politics, and the huge strain it put on his personal life.

Tho I do wish him the best, because one thing: while not all Israel haters are Islamic terrorists (many of the rest are liberal commies, fascists, etc.), all Islamic terrorists hate Israel. If more Muslims stopped hating Israel and America, the two great nations left on Earth, this world would be a lot more peaceful.
Any muslim who doesn’t hate Jews and infidels has to be an apostate.
God bless this guy who switched sides from Satan to the Good guys. And maybe he was “the anti-Semite” bigot hate- Mongerer on his campus. But there are many just as evil as he was -.on many campuses ( including public tax supported universities) and most often the administrators and politicians are happy to just let it fester and get more and more dangerous all the time
I would “bahai” is a better term for a “peaceful Muslim;” that’s the solution: Bahaism should be spread in the Middle East; its close enough to Islam to get people to easily adopt it, in terms of backstory and names and succession of prophets, but doesn’t promote murder, genocide, rape, and incest.
No wonder Iran suppresses it so much.
He is a brave man, walking fast and loose in Englandistan’s New Muslim enclaves. I pray for his safety and peace of mind.
“I Was the Campus Anti-Semite!” I saw that movie. It starred a young Michael Landon.
Rushdie was and is more dangerous to MOslem — he exposed the fact that the Koran is made-up and has pieces that talk abotu worshipping the three goddesses, daughters of Al-Illah
Good for him!
I have gone to a Q&A with this guy. He is amazing! i was even able to ask him a few questions! Please pray for him. He is definitely targeted.
Amen!
