Hillary Clinton was looking to get a dig in on Donald Trump before a group of minority reporters today, but slipped and nearly called on them to compare her to “my husband.”

Freudian slip. In her mind, she is also competing with Bill, and wants to prove she is a better president than he thinks he was. Bill knows it too, hence the ‘Sleepytime Bill’ at her acceptance speech last week. Passive/aggressive behavior from him rebelling against her attempt to rise to his level.
