Kasich, whose only primary win was in Ohio, has created problems for the Trump campaign, despite conceding in May to the GOP presidential nominee -- refusing to endorse Trump or attend official events during the party’s nominating convention last month in Cleveland.
Such actions appear to have so far hurt efforts to create state party unity and Trump’s chances of winning Ohio, considering no GOP presidential nominee has been elected to the White House without winning the state.
“He's going to win parts of Ohio where people are really hurting," Kasich told CNN's "State of the Union..."

Kasich was the OH governor in 2012, and OH went for Obama.
Don’t waste your breath, K-Suck, we know where you stand. You’re voting for Hillary.
Kasich is a snake in the grass but not going to the convention is better than going and Cruzing Trump.
And he loses Shaker Heights and maybe Bay Village, too. Who cares? If Trump wins Ohio, it will be for the right reasons.
You only think it’s close because pollsters tell you it’s close. What do you really KNOW?
It must be looking good for Trump in Ohio and Kasich doesn’t want to appear irrelevant.

Gentleman:
Kasich is dangerous.
Just a couple of days ago to a reporter, he said McCain should not even have to stand for reelection due to his military service and captivity and that McCain should get a lifetime appointment as Senator.
Apparently, Kasich forgot about that little skiff we has with King George a few years ago. The land of the king has a House of Lords appointed for life. WE DON’T. We have a Senate with senators standing for reelection every 6 years.
Well to be fair, I don’t even think Ronald Reagan could have saved Mitt Romney. What a loser.
Kasich has been one of the biggest disappointments of this whole election cycle. Before he threw his had in the ring, I thought he would be a good candidate, given his Chairmanship of the House Budget Committee, and governorship of a major swing state. Then he made his first debate appearance. Oy. He’s done nothing (in my eyes, at least) but go downhill ever since.
However, I do hope Kasich ends up supporting Trump, however much they might dislike each other. Trump needs to accept support whenever it’s offered, especially in this case. The goal is to get Trump, and not Hillary!, in the White House. We can’t lose sight of that.
Shut up, Gov. You have done enough damage.
