Phelps and 3 other guys, huh? One of the aspects of Olympic coverage that I hate. Phelps was pumped full of adrenaline and contributes to the win, perhaps decisively. But 3 other swimmers busted a gut and, for some of those, this will be their one shot at Olympic Glory.
Those three did good. The starts were good, the turns excellent and they charged the wall instead of gliding in. Just an awesome job. Two of them were new to the big time international events. Nothing like a relay to get you going. What the heck happened to the Aussies?
