Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Sunday’s “Cats Roundtable” on New York AM 970 radio that the elite media is against GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“It is a period of turmoil. A lot of Republicans get very scared. The elite media is 95 percent against Trump and they’re doing everything they can to fan the flames of a panic. The fact is that this race is a long, long way from over. The truth is that Hillary Clinton is probably the most dishonest person ever to run for president, and certainly the most corrupt ever to be nominated for president,” Gingrich said to host John Catsimatidis.
Gingrich also believes Trump can bounce back from his tough last two weeks.
He added, ”Trump has had a tough two weeks, but people need to remember just before those weeks he was ahead in every poll. So, the chance for him to bounce back again is very real. Hillary has enormous liabilities.”

I don’t trust Gingrich, but if Trump can dangle a carrot for him to chase in a Trump admin, Gingrich can provide good red meat surrogate talk.
That’s the power of TV ads ... people let them into their homes where they wouldn’t let people in
plus there’s no “Media filter” - Trump can say whatever he wants about Hillary, directly to voters, and no one in the Media can stop him

It’s because they are Democrats. There was a scandal a few years back when political donations first appeared searchable online. 90% of the donations by “journalists” were to DEMOCRATS.
Newt has been way too patronizing of Trump lately. Almost sounds like Amnesty Ryan the way he lectures Trump in the media.
