Rigged Debate Commission in the bag for Hillary Clinton
The Boston Herald ^ | 8/08/2016 | Holly Robichaud

Posted on 08/08/2016 2:30:20 PM PDT by MaxistheBest

Debates matter. If you don’t believe me, ask Mitt Romney if he would like a do-over of his second forum with President Obama.

Debates are the only time in which we get an unfiltered view of the candidates. With the FBI folding like a cheap suit on the email scandal, these debates may be the only grilling Hillary actually gets.

In the tradition of the late U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, the 2016 presidential debates have been scheduled for times that discourage viewership.

Hillary’s dream schedule was determined by the Presidential Debate Commission. The first two debates conflict with NFL games. Worse yet, the second debate is on the Sunday night of a three-day weekend.

Only Teddy did a better job of scheduling more obscure times. He liked Friday nights!

Trump is correct that the fix is in.

Commission defenders say the schedule was set a year ago. By then we knew the Democratic National Convention was rigged for Hillary, so it’s easy to conclude these dates were picked for low viewership of an unlikeable Hillary.

The commission’s membership is not exactly friendly to a conservative Republican who wants to build a wall. Warren Buffet’s son, Howard, is on the board of directors. That would be the same Warren Buffet who is campaigning with Hillary.

You might recognize the name of the Democratic co-Chairman Michael McCurry. He was a press secretary for Bill Clinton’s administration.

Other members include former “Good Morning America” host Charlie Gibson and Jim Lehrer of PBS. No bias there ... Former Democratic U.S. Rep. Jane Harmon and Newton Minow, former chairman of the FCC and a Democrat, are also on the board along with Antonia Hernandez, CEO of the California Community Foundation. There’s Dorothy Ridings, president of the Changing Foundation, formerly of the League of Women Voters.

Of course, there are some token Republicans such as former U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe. Do you think she stood up for the Republican nominee or buckled to the Democrats like she did in the Senate?

The Republican co-chairman is Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. — the former Republican National Committee chairman who became a lobbyist for the American Gaming Association. Wouldn’t that make him in favor of maintaining the status quo?

Former U.S. Sen. John Danforth and former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels are clearly outnumbered.

It’s time to abolish the Debate Commission. Actually, it’s long overdue.

We need to tape the NFL games and tune in to the debates. I do that anyway since then I do not have to watch the commercials.

Prayers offered up for the Trump team. The combined media/ruling class complex has given us Zika in Miami and Palm Beach, with hordes of undocumented immigrants bringing in diseases we’ve never seen before. We have a stifled economy and lies staring us in the face from every internet social media home page we’re forced to see when we sign in to social media. This is distressing to me but not surprising. Lord, please blind the hands of the ruling class and the social media barons and network TV moguls who try to blind us with distortion. There’s no need for Yahoo to have as news headlines, A reality check on Trump’s economic plan - but nothing about Hillary. I ask this for the good of the American people. Amen.

The pitiful, tottering, disease stricken and aged Hillary may only last a few short months. Never to be sworn in as destructor-successor to the equally evil Barack Obama.

Her estranged husband figure hasn’t much time left on earth either. His diseased countenance tells a story of a sordid life of dipping his pen in many inkwells.

Satan, however, will welcome the duo with open fiery arms. A warm embrace for two evildoers.

Bind their hands, Lord, bind their hands. Bring their plans to destroy a good man to ruin. Protect us Lord under the shelter of thy wings. Don’t let the ruling class bring America to ruin so they can drain us dry for their own profit. Amen, Lord, amen.

They’re trying to make sure that the people who NEED to see these debates, probably won’t be watching. The people who are LIV’s who could be persuaded if they watch. There are no tricks too dirty if they think they can get away with them. They defend it by saying they were decided a year ago? Well, they were plotting to help the democrat candidate all along no matter who it was going to be. So they put these on nights that they know will split the viewership. I think it still works in Trump’s favor because people are so wising up to the dems filthy partisan politics.

These people are vile and they need to be crushed like the cockroaches they are.

Who the heck are the people who base their vote, or even if they will vote or not vote, based on how the candidates perform in a debate at this point in the process? I don’t think I have ever met anyone that admitted changing their vote or that they have now decided not to vote at all after the primary process is done. Is it the very dumbest 10% or voters that still manage to vote or what?

The more blatantly dumbocraps try to cheat, the more it plays into Trump's hands.

Lamestreamers and old pols haven't digested that the rules have changed and their old tricks won't work.

...with hordes of undocumented immigrants bringing in diseases we’ve never seen before.

That is got to be one of the most under-reported stories of Obama's presidency.

We aren’t the problem. We will for sure be watching. It’s the non-political know nothings that might tune out to watch a sports program or be out of town for the weekend. The people who know very little about policies and the issues and get bored of debates very quickly.

Democrats will do absolutely anything to give themselves an edge.

Hillary will continue to try and fly under the radar.
The debate(s) is/are—she would like to have one, if any—the only thing standing between this evil woman and the White House.

The GOP-e stands ready, along with the MSM and a crooked `rat election apparatus, to push her carcass over the finish line so they can have another sock-puppet to manipulate.

It is imperative that we have as many fair debates as possible so the American people can judge for themselves. That’s the whole point of the debates, while Democrats and their allies, the Bush/Romney/Cruz turncoats, see a single debate as a real obstacle to saddling us with another four years of Obama.

Lots of FR folks were proclaiming the imminent demise of old BJ and the Clinton marriage back around 2000.

Trump should refuse to do these.

He should get Manafort and some lackey from the DNC to set up the debates with a mutually agreeable schedule.

Who enabled this gaggle of clowns to set the terms?
