We don’t have the political will to fight Russia under almost any circumstance, and we surely don’t have the will to fight them over something as unworthy as Syria.
You are right on that. Throughout history, more than one has found the Russian bear easier to grab hold of than to let go. Hitler being the last. Grabbing hold of the Russian bear is one thing. Letting go of him is another.
