Black men for the most part do not feel any responsibility for the care and character of their children. This is increasingly becoming true with white and Hispanic fathers as well.
Fathers no longer teach their daughters to insist on marriage before sex. And free sex is pushed by Hollywood entertainment monopoly.
If I had it to do over their wood be no TV in my household and no video games. These things are of the devil and I mean this literally.
They lead to moral decay and lethargy.
Unless you are going to be a TV dictator it is best if you keep the TV out of your home as a parent.
My oldest daughter has graduated college and is a school teacher, and my youngest a senior in college. Good parenting can still yield good kids.

Excellent post. I agree with your next post as well, that these things are prime tools the devil tries to utilize. The TeeVee pipes the anti-Christian immorality directly into these folks homes. Glamorizes all that you mentioned. The young are particularly impressionable, but even adults are not immune, as evidenced by how they are seemingly hypnotized into believing all the propaganda the ‘media’ puts out.
My Wife & I were "tv free" before the birth of our Daughter but returns on the decision are now very clear.
Kids programming, via iPad is allowed but If she watches more than a hour of "shows", she becomes angry, anxious about not watching and disobedient.
She seems naive compared to other kids her age but her capacity for understanding& empathy are astonishing.
We play together and having my 6 year old say to me; "Daddy, I've completed my structure, you need to finish yours so the party can start" ... Where did THAT come from?
if you don't spend the time to teach, develop & show love to your children, something else, will.
