it looks like I am going to be quitting the ELCA. I was raised in that church but in the last 20 years it has been hijacked by those that have a political agenda rather then a religious agenda. I just wonder what mental gymnastics the leadership does to decide boycotting Israel is proper. I cant see myself going Missouri senate. I just will have to look at other denominations.

As a teenager I attended what was then called a Lutheran church of the American synod. That was a long time ago in another city.

I have learned since that the American synod merged with the Evangelical Lutherans in 1988. As always, it seems, the more libtard part of the merger has won.
