First , the kurds just blew up about 300 innocent people in Turkey. Secondly ,if the kurds are in Syria they have no right to be there. We have no right to be there. Syria is a sovereign country with an in place government. Notice that the government is fighting a civil insurgency . In that fight they have sought and obtained the assistance of Russia . Russia has a right to be there by direct invitation. Why do we ignore international law like it is not even there. The Kurds need to get out or they are going to get bombed real bad.

“We have no right to be there. Syria is a sovereign country with an in place government.”

We are an unwelcome, hostile invading force. Syria should file charges against the US at the UN for violating their sovereignty, And file charges against 0bama for war crimes.

Where do you think is “ Kurdistan”?
Their nation overlaps the political boundaries of several countries and yes, they have the “ right” to be there
Now if they truly are fighting ISIS then they are attacking Assad's enemies and thus this story makes no sense
If we have SF embedded with a militia being attacked by Assad's Air Force it is possible they are helping anti Assad islamist militia and thus have been set up as human shields to protect someone from being attacked by Russia and Syria
Btw, speaking of who has the right to be there, tell me why and when US troops were authorized to fight on the ground in SYRIA?

“if the kurds are in Syria they have no right to be there.”

That’s a ridiculous statement. Kurds have lived in parts of Syria for thousands years. Not that I support our efforts to overthrow Assad, but the western powers that created the “nations” of the middle east deliberately split the Kurds between 4 countries to keep the populations divided and at each others throats to prevent a unified resistance. To say the Kurds have no “right to be there” ignores history.
