PHOENIX - A federal judge has referred Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, among others, for criminal contempt charges in connection with behavior associated with a racial profiling case.
Earlier this year Judge Murray Snow held Arpaio in civil contempt for disobeying court orders regarding a lawsuit over racially profiling Latinos during traffic stops.
Friday, Snow referred Arpaio, along with Chief Deputy Gerard Sheridan, Capt. Steven Bailey and Attorney Michelle Iafrate, to another judge for a determination of whether their actions constituted criminal contempt.
In his civil contempt ruling, Snow said Arpaio "engaged in multiple acts of misconduct, dishonesty, and bad faith" regarding those who sued him for illegal traffic stops.

At some point, at some age, you just get fed up.
One of my co-workers was complaining about the cost of these proceedings which he blamed on the Sheriff.
Note that the findings were not that the Sheriff had violated anyone’s rights. It was a contempt citation.
Note also that the government goes after the Sheriff who is attempting to uphold federal law, but the government ignores and even funds sanctuary cities which break federal laws.
Sherrif Joe should arrest the retarded judge and give him some pink undies.
We’ve got to find a way to remove these judges, short of impeachment.
Maybe if Trump is elected and the Repubs keep control of Congress, a law can be passed to reconstitute the federal judiciary, under Congress’s regulatory powers.
This is such a pantload. Liberal judges are determined to prevent real Americans from living in a law-abiding country.
He should arrest the judge for interfering with the police while crimes are being committed

It’s beginning to look as though we’ve passed the point of political solutions to the problem.
I think people all over the country sense this, and are voting for Trump in a last ditch effort to solve our myriad issues by working within the system one last time.
Should The Powers That Be prevent the people from exercising their will through the ballot box, there will be no options left, but to rebel in ways large and small.

I used to read Franz Kafka with a smug sense of detached amusement. I should have taken him more seriously.
In a way, he is the Donald Trump of Arizona. He is simply doing what he was hired to do, enforcing the law, something, Obama, Lynch, Comey and Clinton apparently are unfamiliar with. Goes against the grain of all the liberals and the illegal immigration activists. They hate him. They are always after him, like this judge, and he keeps sticking a finger in their eyes and presses forward.
I had a friend who was a local elected official. At one point she complained to another local official about something. He came into her office and put his feet up on her desk and basically was an a$$hole. LOL she shut down his office and the entire building. He apologized and never put his feet up on her desk again. p.s. she won whatever conflict was going on.
