Scientists Proven Wrong? Great Barrier Reef Found Relatively Unaffected By Global Warming
dailycaller.com ^ | 8/24/2016 | Michael Bastasch

Great Barrier Reef tourist operators found less than 5 percent of the natural wonder has died off from “bleaching,” despite claims from scientists that most of the reef had been killed off by the effects of global warming.

“Scientists had written off that entire northern section as a complete white-out,’’ Chris Eade, owner of the diving boat Spirit Of Freedom, told The Courier-Mail in an interview.

“We expected the worst,” Eade said. “But it is tremendous condition, most of it is pristine, the rest is in full recovery. It shows the resilience of the reef.”

Eade said dire predictions about the demise of the Great Barrier Reef has hurt tourism businesses — a $5 billion industry. He’s particularly angry with scientists who estimated bleaching had hurt 93 percent of the Great Barrier Reef, mostly concentrated in the northern half.

WHAT! That's crazy talk. It's settled science right? Guess "green-piece" will be dispatching a boat loaded with clorox to further the bleaching of the coral huh. You know, just to make sure the results meet the projections. Yup, guess I'll be sporting that scarlet "D" on my shirt today.

No, it shows that the scientists are liars.

Far from slow growing, coral is an extraordinarily fast growing animal. A dead reef can completely rejuvenate in 2 years.
Thousands of hobbyists are raising all types of coral. A reef tank can be fully developed in about a year.

Over the years I have read articles that proposed reef ‘bleaching’ was from a couple of different factors.

One was from common bacteria invading the reefs from airborne dust particles from the Sahara Desert, and another speculated it was from Sun Block in high concentrations from people using large amounts of SPF in tanning lotions at the beach......................

I was surprised to hear an honest "climate change" assessment from a tour guide in the Rocky Mountains this summer. This is almost an exact quote from him:

"These glaciers aren't melting; they are receding. They aren't disappearing because the weather is warmer. They are disappearing because the precipitation that feeds the river of ice has declined significantly over hundreds of years."

Old, obsolete science used to depend on irrelevancies such as raw data. Modern science informed by politics needs nothing like that.

If you say you flew, and I say I witnessed it, then you flew. There is no point of view from which to deny it. I believe George Orwell came up with that one. He thought it was satire.

“What do they know? This day and time anyone can pass themselves off as a marine biologist.”

“George: So I started to walk into the water. I won’t lie to you boys, I was terrified! But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don’t know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you Jerry at that moment I was a marine biologist!

(Elaine enters and sits down)

Elaine: George I was just reading this thing in the papers, it’s amazing!

George: I know I was just telling them the story.

Kramer: Come on George, finish the story.

George: The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to return soup at a deli!

(Jerry gives Kramer a “what the h-” glance)

George: I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said, “Easy big fella!” And then as I watched him struggling I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing

I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!

Jerry: Mammal.

George: Whatever.

Kramer: Well, what did you do next?

George: Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a cork and I found myself on top of him face to face with the blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled out the obstruction!”

Impossible. EVERYONE knows it is settled science, which is the best kind, that global warming is killing the reefs and they will NEVER recover. Now damaged reefs all over the world are regenerating. Let’s hear some apologies from the “experts” and the eco-presstitutes who publish all this faux-science.
