I think “scaled” or “climbed” the more appropriate word.
Nobody “conquers” a mountain. It will be still be there LONG after we’re dust. So in that sense, the mountain conquers us all.

At 55, with black belts in Tai Jutsu and Tae Kwon Do, I’ve sparred against a lot of different folks over the years.
I will go with Springfield-Jutsu and Glock-Fu-Do ANY day of the week.
It’s the Ultimate Martial Art.

You do realize how many thousands of people per year do that? I'm thinking that one of them wasn't you. It is literally life a life or death adventure. Even top athletes sometimes can't do. Even getting to base station if for beyond most people capabilities.

A lot of people do it and it’s not cheap.
The people that do it are in damn good shape.
I have friends that do Ironman races and Ultra-marathons and they may not be in shape to climb Everest.

Arizona, purple? It has only gone democrat for president once since 1948. Trump at 43% is nothing to cheer about. Arizona is suffering both from illegal immigration from mexico, and legal immigration from California.
