Once a fingerprint is gone, it’s gone.
Same with magnetic signatures. Very delicate.
What we can do to recover is limited. Amazing what can be done, but the sensitivity required to detect ‘scrubbed’ magnetic traces has a limit.
But fortunately, there are other copies of emails.

Amazing, isn’t it. Similar things can be done to detect the history of a magnet’s polarization. But fingerprint DNA and polarization ‘tracks’ are fragile.
