I wonder if the bigger story is that the “National Footvball League” can’t get it together and condemn this antiamerican gesture.

This guy was not personally insulting the anthem. He did this in uniform during an NFL event. He was speaking for tge NFL.

People don’t get that?

“His response to someone else who believes America needs to fix things is to tell him to look for another country. Incredible.”

The difference is that Kaepernick does not love this country. He does not like this country. He does not even care about this country.

Trump loves this country. He cares. He is not sitting down. He is taking action.

But I would prefer that he not weigh in on every item in the news or that baiting journalists ask him about. I know he is NOT a politician, and that is part of what we all appreciate about him. But at this point in the game, focus is EVERYTHING. As much as I agree with Trump’s reply, there will be many who might feel passionately the opposite, and we want their votes too. If someone wants to support the unpatriotic athletes and still vote for Trump, let them. Don’t chase them away by taking sides on issues that are not mission critical.

From now until November, the Trump campaign needs a laser focus on getting the positive message out of HOW Trump is going to make America great again, and why a Clinton presidency would be a horrific disaster. Trump needs to keep doing outreach, taking his case to the people, and preparing to demolish Hillary in the debates.

With a little effort we can win this thing.

These are his parents, who adopted him and gave him a nice middle class childhood after his biological parents threw him away. The White devils!

Just think, after seven and a half years of Obama, the nation is still too good for this guy.

Trump is right.  Just think how much more it will be too good for Kaepernick by the time Trump is done with it.

It’s always better to tell the truth, even if it’s ugly.

Sensible people appreciate it if you respect them enough to tell the truth.

Good manners alone can get one out of many a dilemma.

What is it about America's “Elites”, the wealthy, sports heroes, the upper crust who enjoy all the benefits that a free, Capitalist, Democratic society can offer that makes them reject or assault the very essence of how and why they enjoy their lives and lifestyles?

How can one achieve so much, attain so much and yet spit on the very edifice that supports them?

Is it self-hate?

Is it a deep sense of guilt and angst?

Can a Freeper out there help clear this up?

This is not a new phenomenon and it did not start now. Is it just being Politically Cool Correct?

It reminds me of Wikileaks and similar leakers. Why is it that they always try to damage, Free and Democratic societies but not release damaging material about Dictatorships, Tyrannical rulers or unjust societies?

“At this point he doesn’t give a rip. $65 mil. of Kaep’s $126 mil contract is guaranteed. He can be cut tomorrow and never play another game and still be very, very rich. Obscene money for a QB with the IQ of a slug.”

Not if people start yelling he should donate some of it to BLM. IMHO if he is so worried about the thugs getting shot who are shooting at the cops in these urban areas, he should put his money where his mouth is. Go ahead. Give that money to these poor neighborhoods. See how appreciated he is for it.

This hit on Trump misses the vital difference. Trump is going to fix what’s wrong with America.

“Well I have followed [the Kaepernick story], and I think it’s personally not a good thing. I think it’s a terrible thing. And you know, maybe he should find a country that works better for him, let him try, it won’t happen.”

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You go, Trump, for saying what the rest of us are thinking.

The left always changes the argument, “He has the right to free speech!”

And I do to.

And so does Trump.

SO this football player is free to speak his mind and I am free to tell him that if he doesn't like it here, he can leave.

And I'll contribute to his plane fare.

And just because he has the right to say it, doesn't mean I have to agree with what he says.

How about “Money Guilt” ?

Just as their is “White Guilt”...

Both of these favor the destruction of the U.S. while protecting the very people who enjoy their benefits.
