I don’t always agree with Rush lately but he’s on point with this. The Obama/media assaults the American people at every turn. They won’t allow us to have hope or joy, they beat us senseless.
This football skirmish is just another instance of destroying the American soul. No more turning on the game to escape, to have fun, to get away from the 24/7 political beating.
I wish actors and sports figures would keep their political views to themselves. I want to enjoy watching them for escapism entertainment. It’s hard to escape when thoughts about their real lives come creeping in. I’m in the SF Bay Area. I have no interest in watching the 49ers as long as CK is on the team.

Rush has mentioned many times that the left MUST get rid of any fun we have, anything good in our lives that gives us hope. Your comments are spot on.
I LOVE my Green Bay Packers, have followed them through the good years and the bad. I am a political junkie but follow Packers indeed for fun, sportsmanship and the pride they bring to our state! And yes when I see the pink on them for ONE MONTH I totally could barf. I’ve written notes and told the NFL what I think. Making men wear pink is disgusting and sissy to me. For the whole month is “in your face”. It’s just like Black History month. Seriously where is WHITE history month?????
