And use the fines collected from every employer caught hiring illegals.
Good idea, but how will you implement? Tax direct transfers from the US to Mexico? In two weeks 95% of them will go through Switzerland or Bermuda, and you won't be able to tax all money transfers to foreign countries without destroying the economy. Illegals generally don't pay income taxes now - this is a system where the greedy grasping government squeezes a cut of the action out of every dollar that changes hands officially now.
It’s obvious watching some of the news shows this morning that the Hillary campaign hasn’t yet prepared the talking points for the media.
I watched NBC for a moment this morning. Matt Lauer had Tim Kaine (the beta male VP choice of the dems). On the Trump speech, ol Matt did the typical prevaricating NBC thing bye teeing up Kaine with the statement “Trump says they didn’t bring up who is paying for the wall - yet the Mexican president said they did”
What Trump said was “We didn’t DISCUSS it” - in other words the Mexican President brought it up, and Trump said “it isn’t up for discussion”.
But Lauer couldn’t help himself - trying to help Kaine - who went into a 5 minute diatribe about how week it was to “not bring up who is paying for the wall”
It’s how they dishonestly roll, but it shows what a puss Kaine is to talk to a BS lie hoping that nobody was paying attention to what was actually said.
Easy: 35% tax on all outgoing Western Union Fees leaving the country. Not just to Mexico either. Those fake gold Pakistanis in the malls? Money goes straight to the Middle East to bring more scumbags in.
Or, a $150 “entry fee” on every car made in Mexico sent to the US.
Trump needs to drop the “they will pay for it” mantra. This is our country and our border. It is OK for the U.S. to pay for the wall.
You implement the law. Are you familiar with the mechanism suggested to tax remittances?
How has he managed his life for so many years without the expertise y'all bring?
LOL...some of them just can’t help themselves.
I’ll donate a hundred bucks if I can have my name on one of the bricks.
“....... Impose a tax on every electronic money transfer wired to Mexico by the illegals working here.”........
I’ve thought that same thing a long time ago when I first heard Trump say that Mexico would pay for the wall. At least that is one way.
What a sadistic way to start your day off!
“How has he managed his life for so many years without the expertise y’all bring?”.......
Quite well I might add. Trump is no dummy despite what the liberals and media pundits try to convey. He knows exactly how Mexico will pay for the wall without anyone telling him how to accomplish it.
Based on what I heard yesterday, heres what I think happened...
Trump negotiated an agreement where Nieto would get a few billion in aid for, lets say, infrastructure.
Those infrastructure funds would be earmarked for a wall.
From CNN today:
Who pays for the wall? We didnt discuss, Trump had said when asked by a reporter during a news conference following their meeting in Mexico City. We did discuss the wall. We didnt discuss payment of the wall. Thatll be for a later date.
But Peña Nieto later claimed the two had discussed the wall and who would pay for it and he had made it clear to Trump it wouldnt be Mexico.
At the start of the conversation with Donald Trump, I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall, Peña Nieto tweeted, after their meeting Wednesday.
(Hope I got the quote marks right...)
So...
That way, Trump can continue to say that Mexico will pay for the wall, and Nieto can say that Mexico wont pay for the wall.
Both sides played a form of politics. Both won.
For the record: I am not yet sure who I will be voting for. I am, however, a dyed-in-the-wool constitutionalist.
I simply see that there are any number of ways to move money across borders, but I'm willing to learn - enlighten me.
The why are you here on this forum?
The only candidates who are meaningful are
The only one who is going to defend the Constitution in this race is Donald J. Trump.
Sorry. I thought this was a conservative forum, not a Trump forum.
My mistake.
