FBI Data Dump Shows Clinton is Criminal and Clueless

... a good amount of today’s release has been redacted. The original documents were classified at the Secret/Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals level, and to make it Unclassified about a third of the text has been cut out.

But what’s there is awful enough for Team Clinton. Although the FBI’s press release is terse, the documents themselves indelibly portray the Democratic presidential nominee as dishonest, entitled, and thoroughly incompetent.

The Clinton follies continued, with Hillary’s lawerly position clear: “Clinton did not recall receiving any emails she thought should not be on an unclassified system,” the FBI recorded. She even stood her ground when asked about emails regarding drone strikes—a subject that the CIA and the Pentagon consider to be highly classified. Indeed, it’s Top Secret and part of a super-sensitive Special Access Program or SAP.

Not to Hillary. Such SAP information wound up in her “Unclassified” emails but Clinton would have none of it. As the FBI noted, “Clinton stated deliberation over a future drone strike did not give her cause for concern regarding classification.” This would be stunning news to the thousands of American military and intelligence personnel who have to treat such Top Secret SAP information according to the strict rules and regulations that apply to anybody not named Clinton.

Here Hillary has confirmed what many have long suspected—that there’s one set of laws for Clintons and Friends, and a very different set for the rest of us.

The FBI inquiry descended into farce. The Bureau’s investigation determined that hundreds of the emails containing classified information had been sent by Hillary while she was out of the United States—including in Russia. Since these were sent on Clinton’s ubiquitous Blackberry, all of those should now be assumed to be in the hands of foreign intelligence agencies.

Actually just a sentence or two would be devastating to anyone else. Someone so incompetent would not normally be considered even for night manager at 7/11.

This tragicomedy continued with the FBI pressing Hillary on specific examples of classified information that wound up in her “Unclassified” emails.

Having been in many depositions over the decades, some heated, I can tell you that the so-called 3 hour “interview” was not a deposition ergo the FBI could NOT have “pressed” her on anything. The FBI’s hammer had been taken away. Namely, she was not under oath and there was no video or audio or court reporter. So, the so called “interview” was just a bullshit session.

In a REAL deposition, in Texas Courts, a person doing what she did (complete bs amnesia) would very likely have had her entire side of the case struck (means you lose the whole case) and she could have easily been sentenced to a few days in jail for contempt.

The whole interview was designed to make both parties look good. Comey was a coward for agreeing to these concessions in advance.

As bad as this is regarding Hillary Clinton, it is devastating to the reputation of the FBI. Clinton will eventually be gone from the political scene-the damage to the country still to be determined.

But the FBI is now viewed as a corrupt, political entity. It may never recover its reputation.

The entire debate about what is or was or should be classified or how it was marked is a red herring. It is much simpler. Everyone knows that the Sec of State is going to receive classified email. That is why the security teams insisted on her using a hard wired desktop, and to not use her blackberry outside of secured buildings. Every email sent to Sec of State should be handled as if it were classified because there is no way to know before it is received how sensitive any email would be. The idea that they had to be retroactively classified or that the sender had to mark it before it could be considered secret is an impossible task and only a fool would accept this kind of argument as legitimate.

Classification is determined by the content, not by the stamp or marking placed on the document. For example no general could pass to the enemy a dossier listing ideas for future battle plans and then say that since he did not turn them into the Pentagon and since they were not yet official battle plans that they were not classified. Emails sent to Sec of State will necessarily contain national secrets and intelligence and accordingly all communications to that office need to be treated with the highest security features possible.

And you could take it even further. Why would any Sec of State be careless even with emails about yoga plans and wedding cakes? In this age of metadata collection any piece of information has value. If a foreign spy agency only got their hands on 15,000 personal emails they could develop a robust profile of her likes and dislikes, her travel patterns, when and where she can be found (for further spying by planting microphones or worse, intent to do harm to public officials). There is not one piece of information I would want a foreign agency to get pertaining to any subject that was no already in the public domain.

At some point her multiple excuses should cause reasonable people to come to the conclusion that she is either dumb as a rock or will lie about anything until the bitter end. After working with law enforcement almost every time I went to work for 25 years... she reminds me a great deal of all these thugs that claim they doe’ know nuffin’ or din’ see nuffin’... For the most part they were both stupid and lying.
